Guotai Junan International Human Rights Commitment
Guotai Junan International Holdings Limited (the "Group") is firmly committed to respecting and upholding the fundamental human rights of all employees and individuals associated with our business ((including partners, suppliers, etc.). We strictly adhere to internationally recognized human rights standards (including The UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, The OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, and other recognized frameworks) and the laws and regulations of the locations where we operate. We are resolutely opposed to and take concrete measures to eliminate human trafficking, forced labor, child labor, and all forms of discrimination. This commitment is a core component of the Group's corporate social responsibility.
1. Prohibition of Human Trafficking and Forced Labor
The Group strictly prohibits any form of human trafficking, slavery, indentured servitude, and forced or compulsory labor. We ensure that all work is voluntary, employees have the legal right to terminate their employment freely, and their identification documents are not unlawfully withheld. We uphold ethical standards in recruitment, fee-bearing, and employment conditions, never obtaining labor through deception, coercion, or exploitation.
2. Prohibition of Child Labor
The Group absolutely prohibits the employment of any child who has not reached the local legal minimum employment age or has not completed compulsory education. We have strict identity and age verification procedures in place during the recruitment process to prevent any risk of child labor. For young employees who meet the legal age requirements, we ensure that their working environment, hours, and job types comply with all laws and regulations protecting young workers.
