Role Overview

We are hiring Investment Counsellors to join Investment Counsellor (IC) team within the Wealth Management Department. The analyst will operate in a dual capacity: covering a primary asset class vertical (e.g. equities, fixed income, structured products, FX, or funds) while also serving as a dedicated advisory resource for specific client segments. This role combines rigorous investment research with hands-on client engagement, supported by AI-powered tools and a modern content infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

l  Develop and maintain deep expertise in one primary asset class (equities, fixed income, structured products, FX, or funds).

l  Conduct market research, monitor macro and micro developments, and generate actionable investment insights within the assigned vertical.

l  Serve as a dedicated investment resource for specific client segments.

l  Tailor investment views and product recommendations to meet the risk-return profiles and preferences of assigned clients.

l  Partner with relationship managers and sales teams to deliver timely, relevant, and high-conviction investment commentary.

l  Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Greater China and global markets across multiple asset classes.

l  Respond to ad-hoc investment queries from sales teams and clients with accuracy, timeliness, and commercial awareness.

l  Actively explore and adopt AI tools, fintech platforms, and data analytics solutions to streamline research workflows and improve output quality.

l  1–3 years of relevant experience in investment research, wealth management advisory, or a front-office role within a securities firm, private bank, or asset management company. (Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.)

l  Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with clients, sales teams, and senior management.

l  Deep understanding of Investment Products and Markets across Greater China and global markets.

l  Strong passion for investing with well-developed market views and the ability to communicate them clearly.

l  Enthusiasm for leveraging AI tools and technology to enhance research quality and operational efficiency.

l  Excellent communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese (both written and verbal).
